Brief Bio

I said a sinner's prayer when I was five, had a very academic knowledge of the Lord growing up in Church and Christian school, but never knew the Lord intimately. In His grace, God opened my eyes to my true condition. I had always believed He died and rose again for my sins, but I had never confessed Him as my Lord of my life. I submitted to Jesus and His will at the age of twenty-five. Now I'm serving Him with everything I have and intend to for the rest of my life.

Ashley and I met in 2011 and were married on July 13, 2013. The Lord called us into full time ministry in 2012. It's been a thrill ride! We have seen God do amazing things, far beyond anything we could've imagined. We spent almost 10 years in kids ministry at a multi-site church in Southeast Michigan (where we both grew up). We have four incredible children - Heidi, Uriah, Everly and Maverick. For us, there is no greater joy in the world than being married and raising a family.

God called us to lead Calvary Bible Chapel in February of 2022. We are so excited about the future of this local church body! We can't wait to meet you and your family!

Hobbies

Going on dates with Ashley, playing with my kids, golfing, fantasy football, reading, and anything DETROIT SPORTS!

Brief Bio

I was raised Roman Catholic, but at the age of 18, I stopped going to church and moved out on my own. I did like the Catholic faith but never pursued it. I met my wife Vicky in 1981 and we started dating, three weeks before we were married in June of 1982, I gave my life to the Lord. I have been a member of CBC since 1981. I've been serving the Lord in various ministries ever since. Vicky and I have 4 children and 10 grandchildren which keeps us very busy. I love where I am in life and hope that it just keeps getting better in the future for me, my family and Calvary Bible Chapel.

Hobbies

I love spending time with my family and when not busy in my down time I love to read. I am a struggling guitar player and also an avid Detroit sports fan.

Favorite Scripture

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

Brief Bio

I accepted Christ when I was approximately ten years old. Thankfully, I was exposed to the power of the Holy Spirit early in my life. Though I turned away from God in my twenties, He was faithful and never left me. Much later in life, I realized that I needed and wanted Him. Nothing that I could do or achieve could ever satisfy my need for Him. Because of His grace and faithfulness, He has gifted me with abundant life in which He is the center, my savior, and sustainer. I know that I am his daughter, and nothing can separate me from Him. No matter how I may stumble, His amazing grace always welcomes me back into the safety of His arms.

I have been blessed to be a part of the Calvary Bible Chapel for over 20 years. I know that this is the family that God has chosen for me during this season of my life. I've had the honor of serving on the Board of Trustees nearly four years. I am confident that God is moving at Calvary Bible Chapel, and those who submit to his authority will have the privilege of witnessing His plan come to fruition.

Hobbies

Travelling, reading, gardening, listening to music.

Favorite Scripture

Psalm 23

Brief Bio

I grew up attending a small Methodist church where my grandparents took us. As an immature child, I lost interest in my high school years and when the pastor I loved moved away. I spent the next 8 years away from the Lord, until I realized my life needed a change. I attended Calvary Bible Chapel with a friend and decided that I wanted to give my life to Jesus Christ, who gave his life for all sin. A month later, my husband Ryan and I had our first date and got married in May of 2008. We have three amazing children together: Summer, Winter & Asher.

In early 2017, just after Asher was born, I began training to take over the Treasurer’s position. Since then, I have worked as treasurer and served on the board of directors. While Calvary Bible Chapel has been through many trials, God has always been faithful. We are so excited for the new path that the church is on and for what is to come!

Hobbies

Fun adventures with my children, baking, crafting, lifting weights, home projects & movies with my hubby and Crumbl cookie!

Favorite Scripture

"The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure." 1 Corinthians 10:13

Brief Bio

I accepted Christ as my savior at a very low point in my life. I had no where else to go and knew I needed to get my life going in a different direction. I believed that Jesus died and rose again. I confessed Him as Lord of my life. I made a commitment to God that day and promised to turn my life around. He always keeps his promises to me and I have kept mine.

Christ empowers me to fulfill His purpose. I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace. Knowing that promise I have gone many places and done things through his strength that I never thought possible. It's a privilege to be serving Him here at CBC. I have served as Business Administrator for over 30 years and was our former Secretary Treasurer for over 32 years.

I am also serving the body as a trustee on the Board of Directors and a member of our CBC Mission Board. I serve as the chairperson of the Noah's Ark Child Development Center board of directors and currently oversee the daily operations of the center. I have been a part of our CBC family for over 55 years. I am so excited about where we are as a church. I am looking forward to all the good things God has in store for our church and just being a small part of that forward vision.

Hobbies

Photography, spending time with my family and my church family, going to my cabin on the river, and gardening.

Brief Bio

Yes, that's me in the blue shirt. I grew up in a dysfunctional family. In 1975 I attended Church where they were doing plenty of things with the young adults, but like a flash in the pan those things did not last very long. Being discouraged, I just moved on and attended a few places to try find my fit. The Lord never stopped chasing me. I was saved and baptized in June of 1975 when I submitted Him and gave my heart to Him.

Fast forward, I decided to search for the deeper things of God. I became a God chaser! In 2004, I met my wife Anna. We were married in 2006. She has worked side by side with me in the ministry of inner healing and deliverance. We both find it fulfilling when people are set free from bondage.

I am currently serving CBC on the Board of Trustees. I can't wait to see what the future of Christ's Church holds.

Brief Bio

I was born and raised Jewish. My mom took me to Catholic church. My entire life has been one blessing from the Lord. Through several spiritual interventions, meeting my wife and being delivered from several addictions (just to name two), I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior when I was 22.

My wife and I were married in 1992 and the Lord gave us 3 wonderful sons! He expanded our family over the next two decades to include 10 more incredible sons from the Toledo area and Haiti. During this period of time my wife and I were blessed to be the CBC youth pastors for many years. It is a pleasure to be serving CBC in a new capacity on the board of trustees.

Hobbies

Spending time with my wife, martial arts and scuba diving.
